The magnificent castle complex dominates the picture, meaning that the village itself is often overseen from a distance. Together with the surrounding districts of Billikon, Ettenhausen, Brünggen, Seemerrüti and Mülau, the village of Kyburg forms its own political municipality located in unspoilt nature with high recreational value. Despite its rural structures, Kyburg has excellent connections to the public transport system and the nearby urban centers. The primary school, with nursery and day school, is also equipped to meet today’s needs.
